MILEAGE, DRIVING AREA AND GASOLINE

1.- What about mileage? Are there any driving restrictions?
Mileage is free, and you can drive in all of Mexico without restrictions. You could also visit our neighbour countries of Belize and Guatemala.

2.- I would like to cross the border towards Belize and/or Guatemala. Is this allowed?

Gasoline price is in pesos and the measure is liters, but the equivalent is currently about 2.50 usd per gallon.

4.-Can I pay at gas stations using my credit card?
You usually can´t. Some gas stations do accept credit cards, but most of the don´t, so it´s always better to use cash.

5.- Can I pay for gas using US cash or Euros?
Us dollars are accepted almost everywhere, not only in gas stations. Euros could be accepted but the most common foreign currency is Us dollars. The best way to pay though, is using Mexican pesos, which you can get at any money exchange or bank.

PICK UP AND DROP-OFF: LOCATIONS AND FEES

1.- I´m arriving by air. How do I find you at the airport? How do I get to your office?
Since we don’t have a rental booth or telephones inside the airport, you must come out of the building and look for our sign with our logo and your printed name on it.

It´s actually very easy to find us, providing you don´t ask anybody for help. If you do that, you will be tricked and led to any other company and not us. There are many dishonest people at the aiport that would sell you for a cheap commission. These dishonest companies lie to people all the time and they run their businesses by stealing reservations from all the other, well established companies like us. The best way to avoid being a victim of these people is not to ask anybody for help and by not, by all means, showing your reservation to anybody. Our representatives will never ask you to show them your reservation. We already have our copy of your reservation.

Once you contact our representative at the airport, we will take care of all the rest. We will take you in our shuttle ride to our office, where we will fill out the rental agreement and turn your car to you.

2.- Are there any airport taxes or fees I must pay upon arrival?
No, you don´t have to pay any taxes or fees upon your arrival. Airport fees and taxes are already included in your rate, you must not worry nor pay any more for those concepts.

3.- Are there any mandatory taxes or fees on top of the rate stated in my reservation?
No there aren´t. Any mandatory fees are already included in the rate stated in your reservation. You will be offered additional insurance but if you don´t wish to, you don´t have to pay anymore than what we quoted.

4.- I´m not arriving by air. Where is your office located?
Our aiport office is located 5 minutes from the airport facilities, however, we have an office location near you: we have offices in Cancun Downton, Cancun Hotel Zone, Playa del Carmen, Tulum and Akumal.

But by all means, the best way to get to our office is by arranging a free of charge pick up at your hotel or any other place, that way you don´t have to pay for a taxi or find any other means to get to us and this way you also don´t have to spend time finding our address.

To arrange your pick up you can do it by simply stating your required time and place in the comments box in the reservation form. You can also give us a phone call prior to your pick up date. You can find our telephone numbers in the contact us page in this website.

5.- I´d like to pick up my car at Cancun Airport, and return it in Playa del Carmen or Tulum. Is there a charge for doing this?
